Arthur William Krey,91,of Hamilton passed away peacefully March 7, 2012 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, NJ. Mr. Krey was born September 28, 1920 in Morrisville, PA to Celia and Arthur Krey. He married the former Irene Kerner in 1942. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII in North Africa and Italy as a radio operator. He retired from NJ Bell Telephone in 1978 after over 32 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was an avid Fisherman, electrician and fix it man who could repair just about anything. Past Commander of VFW Post 3525 in Hamilton and a life member of the Fin Fur & Feather Club
He was predeceaced by his wife of 56 years, Irene and his daughter, Priscilla and siblings, David, John and Dorothy. Surviving are his daughter and son in law; Patricia & Daniel Hutt; of Columbus; grandsons; Michael; Brian; and Christopher Chiara; and great grandchildren; Nichilas; Alexander; and Jessica Chiara; his sister; Frances Selby; of California and many nieces and nephews
He will be entombed with his wife at the Ewing Cemetery, Services are private for the family. Arrangements are by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, knottscolonialfuneralhome.com
His parting wish was that we do not mourn his passing, bur celebrate his life.
