Robert C. Kelly Sr.


Robert C. Kelly, Sr., 69, of Hamilton, passed away with his loving family at his side on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Capital Health Medical Center-Hopewell.

Bob was born in Trenton, and grew up in Yardville prior to moving to Hamilton. He worked as a Compositor with The Trentonian for 44 years. He enjoyed working part time for The Circle R printing company. Bob was an active member of the HOG chapter at Mills in Burlington where he was also the Editor in Chief of their newsletter, he had been given the name "Roadkill" on a trip to Daytona and it stuck. Bob was an avid hunter and a proud lifetime member of Fin Fur & Feather and The Logan Boys. He had his own hunting sign printing company for over 30 years and enjoyed delivering signs and sharing hunting stories with customers.

Bob was a lifelong fan of the Phillies and shared his love with his family and kids, taking them to games and showing them how to cheer them on and love them as much as he did.

Predeceased by his parents, Clement T. and Pauline Kelly; he is survived by devoted wife of 44 years, Sandra E. Kelly; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Judy Kelly, Jr.;his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly S. and Mark Clark; his grandchildren, Sean and Joel Kelly, Kailyn T. Kelly and Liam M. Clark; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and James Totten and Terri and Greg Merlino; his lifelong friends, Danny Lenco and Marty McDonough; and his many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Cremation will take place privately.
