Peter F. Partyka Jr. TRENTON- Peter F. Partyka Jr., 61, of Trenton died Saturday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, after a long illness. Born in Trenton, Mr. Partyka was a lifelong Trenton resident. He retired in 1986 after many years employed at the Fairless Steel Plant in Fairless Hills, PA, and was previously employed with the American Bridge Company of Trenton.
He was an avid sportsman, who previously was a member of the Fun, Fur & Feather Rod & Gun Club in Cream Ridge and the Top Five Gun Club in Frenchtown, NJ. In addition, he was a lifelong fisherman, both salt and freshwater, who knew just about everything that you would need to know about fish, fishing, and angler's techniques. Peter enjoyed his home garden and was an animal lover. Son of the late Peter F. Sr. and Catherine M. McGovern Partyka, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marie A. Pintye Partyka; his son, Peter F. Partyka III of Egg Harbor, NJ; his two granddaughters, Rachel M. Partyka and Lauren R. Partyka; his two sisters and one brother-in-law, Catherine T. Goeke of Hamilton Township and Mary Beth and Philip Mosner of Hamilton Township; one niece, four nephews, and their spouses; two grandnephews, one grandniece, and many cousins. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty Streets. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m. Thursday in the Divine Mercy Parish, Church of the Holy Cross. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
