Richard "Puffer" Green Jr.

EDGEWATER, Fla. — Richard “Puffer” Green Jr., 79, of Edgewater, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Born in Yardville, Mr. Green served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a lineman for P.S.E. and G. before moving to New Smyrna Beach in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a member of the Fin, Fur and Feather Club in Creamridge, and loved gardening and woodworking. Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gertrude Green; two sons, Richard III and his wife Susan, of Florence; Bruce and his girlfriend Ellen Beard, of Springhill, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Megan and Christopher Green of Florence, Amanda and Michelle Green of Springhill, and a sister, Audrey Cash of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Civinski of Springhill. Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Green’s memory to: American Cancer Society Southeast, 1737 N.
